Some cars are family

Find the car
you let go.

Your first car. The one your dad drove you home from the hospital in. Tell us what you remember and we watch for it, then email you the day it is listed for sale again.

No card today. A person reads every request and replies by email.

How it works

Three steps from memory to a listing alert.

01

Tell us about the car

The VIN if you have it. If not: make, model, color, years you owned it, the state it was registered in and anything that makes it yours.

02

We find it and watch it

We pin down the VIN, check where the car is in public records, and watch listings and auctions for it.

03

You hear the day it is listed

When it shows up for sale we email you the listing, so you can reach the seller before someone else buys it.

Lost the VIN?

Find where your old VIN is written down.

Tick what you think you still have or could ask for. We list where the VIN will be printed. Nothing is sent anywhere.

Start a watch

Tell us about
the car.

Send whatever you remember. A VIN makes the watch exact; without one we start from the details and help you find it.

We reply by email with what we found and the plan that fits before anything is charged.

Questions people ask

Can you really find my old car?

Often, if it is still on the road and gets listed for sale. Cars that were scrapped or exported may not reappear. We tell you honestly what we find.

Do I need the VIN?

It helps a lot, but no. Start with what you remember; the planner above lists where your VIN is probably printed.

Will you contact the current owner?

Not without you. When the car is listed we send you the listing. On the Reunion plan we can help you write to the seller.

Is this legal?

Yes. We use public listings and records you are entitled to request. We never use the owner's personal details beyond what a public listing shows.
